Assessing/Equalization

The BS&A Assessing/Equalization application is used by local units and counties for the purpose of assessing the value of a property. In its Assessing capacity, it is used for managing Assessed, Capped, and Taxable Values, and provides a variety of reports and utilities to aid Assessors in the balancing of their data and in their reporting to the STC. In its Equalization capacity, it combines counties’ constituent units into one database for easy generation of required Equalization reports.

Tax

The BS&A Tax application bills and collects on property taxes, and provides a variety of tools to aid in balancing, disbursement, and settlement with the County.

Special Assessment

The BS&A Special Assessment application manages a variety of special assessments, from single-year districts to more complicated multi-year amortization districts. Installment amounts can be billed and collected in Special Assessment, or sent to Tax for inclusion on the tax bill.
