About a year ago, BS&A added a great feature to all of its applications, allowing users to easily submit requests for support without having to pick up the phone. Instead, requests could be submitted directly through the Help menu of each of our applications: This feature has proven to be very successful; we now receive roughly 30% of support requests through our Help menus. There have been a few occasions, however, where an email com...

A Brief Explanation of .NET .NET is a library of pre-programmed functions. It provides our developers a quick, efficient way to add the features you’ve all come to expect from our programs: calculators, clocks, search fields, and windows, just to name a few. So in the same way a contractor might order a window from a lumber yard instead of building it himself, a developer can order a window from .NET. So, Why .NET? Time is probably a company...

From the first 30 minutes of my interview at BS&A, I knew that I would love working with this company. I remember listening to the goals and motives behind BS&A in that interview, and just thinking that this was finally a company I could really connect with. A company that was just as dedicated to performance as I was, if not more. Over the past year, I have gained an immeasurable amount of knowledge in regards to customer relations, in...

The requirement is to notify taxpayers if their taxes for the prior year went delinquent as of March 1st by placing a message on the tax bill to this effect. In these meetings, support and developer staff discuss the cases to see if they would work on a...

When I think of BS&A, the first thing I think of is their customer service. I have had very few occasions when I have needed their help, as the BS&A program and training are so good. The few times I have needed help they have always been courteous, helpful, and very prompt. BS&A is not like some of the horror stories I had heard in the past, where you go back and forth between whether it’s a hardware or software issue, and never get help resolving the issue. They help you get the issues resolved.
